These two bracelets are like the white bracelet I did way back in 2002. I have been wearing the white bracelet a lot this summer and have been really liking the compliments. So I figured I would make some more - different colors, different beads and see if it is the color or the style that catches people's eyes. (I am always trying things out this way...the world is just one big experiment to me).
The golden colored one is actually for my friend Jody. She LOVES amber - decks both arms, neck and ears with all sorts of amber. I thought it might be nice to add a bit of blue with the amber to get some color poppping. There are chips of both amber & citrine in this bracelet, along with sodalite and glass. I decided to go with one of those flat closures so that it would be easy to get off and on.
The cherry colored one is mine. It has garnet chips and an unidentified faceted gemstone, which is probably garnet too. I added some pink colored pearls, and other glass beads. The closure is another special bead, again from a long gone bead store.
