I have made several pieces of jewelry for my sister, Chaachi - but never a amulet bag. She "ordered" a purple one. Because I am still in the midst of my beaded knitted amulet bag (pouch, spirit bag) frenzy, I knew I had to make hers this way or not at all :).
According to Chaachi, this is the best bag of this type that I have done. For the pouch portion I used Caron Wildflowers thread and black lined amethyst Czech seed beads. The beads in the necklace portion are Venetian, a few vintage, garnet chips and whatever else I had in my stash that was a good match with the Caron thread.
