I am including this scan to show you that sometimes all my ideas don't quite turn out the way I had planned. The necklace is just plain weird. The proportion of the tassel to the necklace is wrong and the large bead used in the tassel and closure is slightly off color from the seed beads. I did have fun making it, so all is not lost. The great thing about beadwork is that you can take something apart and use the beads over again, and, beading thread is cheap!
I am very pleased with the "matching"bracelet. Since starting spiral rope chain jewelry I have toyed with the idea of incorporating stone chips. I finally tried it out using tourmaline chips randomly throughout the spiral portion. The effect is a bit rough looking but in reality the bracelet is smooth and comfortable to wear.
I hope you like this beadwork, please let me know your thoughts by Signing My Guestbook or by sending me an e-mail.
