Beaded Knitted Amulet Pouch - Desert Bag

Okay, so before you misread this the name is desert, as in the place with a lot of sand - NOT dessert, which is that fattening thing that you want to eat right away but you wait until you eat the rest of your meal .

The thread for this bag is a Caron Wildflowers thread, #036/Tobacco and the beads are almost a perfect match. The colors make me think of how a desert would look - muted and peaceful. I am particularly proud of the neckpiece even though there is a glaring error in it that I will have to fix. Can you find the error? The beads in the neckpiece contain rose quartz and rhodonite. I am trying to use more stones and chips because I think they carry energy better than just plain beads. I will probably add a closure dangle when I fix the neckpiece. I am not 100% decided yet.

(2/18/01) I restrung the necklace portion and added a bead dangle - it makes the bag look so much different and I wanted to show you that.

I hope you like this beadwork, please let me know your thoughts by Signing My Guestbook. Or by sending me an e-mail.
