Healing Beadwork by Rev. Susan H. Aguirre - "Forgiving" Necklace and Bracelet

I saw an article in the May/June, 1997 issue of Jewelry Crafts on "What to do with Gemstone Chips", by Pamela Welborn, and remembered that I had a few chip necklaces that were just laying around. One in particular was a necklace of goldstone chips. I decided it would be fun to take it apart and use it with some seed beads, as the article showed. The honey colored size 11o seed beads where in the clearance basket at Bobby Beads, a local shop here in the Twin Cities (St. Paul and Minneapolis, Minnesota). The accent seed beads are 22kt gold from Storm Cloud Trading Co.

While I was working on the necklace I was mulling over some comments that a friend had made on the phone just a few minutes earlier. I was feeling sad and a bit defensive and decided to "let it go" and immediately felt a great sense of release and a sweet forgiving attitude washed over me...so this necklace has become "the honey of forgiving".

The bracelet is a spiral rope chain, the pattern is on Hillsinger Fine Hand Beadwork, in the classroom for spiral rope chain. I decided to do a bead and loop closure on this one.

I hope you like this beadwork, please let me know your thoughts by sending me an e-mail.

In Love, Light & Healing...
Rev. Susan H. Aguirre
