Beaded Knitted Amulet Pouches

For a while I found myself in a beading slump, and you can see evidence of this because I hadn't posted anything to my site since June, 99! Everything I did...looking at my beadwork magazines and books, and even playing with beads just didn't seem to get me out of the slump's hold. However, I found myself strangely interested in beaded knitted amulet bags after visiting Sandra White's beautiful creations on her site which sadly, is no longer there. I figured it was "a sign" that trying one of these bags would help me get out of the slump, so that is exactly what I did.

I found one of the BagLady Press books, Bead Knitted Pendant Bags, at a local bead store. Now instead of being in a bead slump, I am finding myself to be seriously addicted to these bags!!!

Below you will find those bags that I have had the time to scan and describe. There will be more here later...probably more than you will ever care to see :) - oh well, at least I am happy!
