The pattern for this cone-shaped amulet bag was in the June 1999 issue of Jewelry Crafts magazine, "A Bag of Butterflies", by Rebekah Wills. I really liked the shape, so I decided to duplicate it in green and gold beads. If you have that issue and compare the finished projects, you will see that I added a peyote stitched lid, and the embellishment on my piece is simple and symmetrical.
