I was having a kind of off day on Saturday but that all changed when I came home and saw that my secret pal gift had arrived! I have been patiently waiting for this little beauty - ever since Mariko contacted me by-mail and let it slip that she had made her secret pal swap gift for me. I am absolutely thrilled! This bag is really, pretty, isn't it? I love the colors and it is just perfect for me, and even with my most favorite - a spiral rope chain used as the bag's neckpiece. She wrote about it:
I call this "Anemone Bag". The design is based on a free pattern on Suzanne Cooper's web page. I changed her violet pattern to Anemone which is one of my favorite Spring flowers. This is the first time for me to make something for someone other than my family members.I am sure you will want to send Mariko an e-mail.
