A Gift for my niece, Marissa

Isn't she a sweetie? It will be her 5th birthday in 1999 and for once I am ahead of schedule in the gift department . I chose this pattern from the book, Beaded Obsessions by Cheryl Assemi, Bobbi Assemi, Cathy Thomsen, Connie Bell and Carole Sweet...whew! I chose to leave the bag fringe-less as I thought it would make it less likely to get hung up or damaged. I also decided to do a necklace closure in case she keeps it in good shape...I could always extend it with another necklace piece. This bag is really tiny, done in 14s which was a lot of fun!
