After I did that first leaf fringe bracelet using my own color palette ("My Colors") I was hooked on the technique and just the feel of having such a lush fringe bracelet on my wrist. I decided to use other colors in my palette to create a purple, blue & pink version.
This bracelet took a long time to make and so many beads because I ended up making it longer fringe, and more full. After I was finished I decided I needed to make more leaf fringe objects so I created the matching necklace, and earrings too!
The necklace is done using spiral rope twist. I made a tube using the bigger beads (used in the center of the bracelet), slid it along on the necklace and then joined the necklace. Then I did the long fringe in 2 layers.
I left the earrings at the hair stylist and never went back to pick them up, so they are probably long gone. Because I keep a log of my beadwork, I know I can recreate them, but I just haven't gotten around to doing it yet.
