I have a belief that all of what we are is a part of God, including those somewhat icky parts of our personalities that we sometimes don't want to deal with - which can be called our shadow side. This belief helps me many days when it seems like nothing is right and everything is wrong. I can relax into knowing that sometimes things just are, and I can get myself out of the judgment mode and back into living Love.
Okay, now back to beading...the beads used here are really nice white crystal bugles and white crystal 11s, shiny black delicas, white satin beads and a pretty czech 11 that is black with tiny white stripes. I wish that striped bead would show a little more, they sure looked great on the hank! I used a venetian bead for the connector point between the dutch spiral and the spiral rope chain.
The finished necklace looks kind of grey in the scan because the majority of the beads are crystal clear - there is no grey in this necklace.
