I decided to do this witch earring/pendant after I finished 21 pairs of earrings for a swap on one of the beading listservs. I had the pattern for the earring/pendant from the collection of Cherie Darvell from the Bead Pattern Designer- Beadville News. The necklace design is my own...just twisted strands and some bone feathers that I thought looked like leaves. The bracelet is a spiral rope chain, the pattern is on Beadwork at Abou.com. The rings and clasps on both the necklace and bracelet are sterling.
I decided to do this because it was close to Halloween and it seemed like a fun thing to do. I wore the set when I was working at a psychic fair in a local shop - I do Tarot readings. I have just the perfect outfit to wear with it too - a black jersey/knit top with an off-the-shoulder ruffle thing with multi-colored embroidered dots on the ruffle, something that perhaps a modern-day witch would wear :o) .
